Our Mission

The Joy Project is a charity foundation that was founded in 2013 to better the lives of people in our community. It was inspired by a sermon at Southland Christian Church that emphasized the difference between moments of happiness and continuous joy.

We believe that in order to achieve continuous joy one needs to unselfishly create joy for those around them. The Joy Project assists local members of the community through acts of kindness.

How it Works

It’s a three step process:
Step 1: Friends of the Joy Project "nominate" someone they know who is in need of extra support at any time.
Step 2: Members of the Joy Project devise a plan to help this someone and cover any costs involved using Joy Project funds.
Step 3: Friends of the Joy Project unite and set out to spread the Joy!

Our Father's Daughters was founded by a group of ladies brought together by the common thread of tragedy but forever bonded by God's healing touch. In memory of our earthly fathers, we want to follow our Heavenly Father's plan to help other young ladies walk in joy again after losing a parent by offering community, prayers, support, and coping strategies.
