PLANTING JOY

On May 16, 2022 the Joy Project went back to a familiar place. In 2016 the Joy Project, Piome, and Southland Christian Church partnered to build a new playground for the children of the Woodhill community in Lexington, KY.

We've all heard the saying "April showers bring May flowers." What better way to start off the spring season then planting flowers with the children of our community. The Joy Project provided materials and assistance in potting small flowers.

We had a great time planting flowers, spending time with the community... and being used as human jungle gyms!
