"We are so very grateful for the Joy Project and all the people who made it possible for our kids to have their very own outdoor play set. The Joy Project didn’t just build us a play set, they provided us with a massive tool to help meet our kid’s sensory needs at home, and have so much fun while meeting them. We have 3 boys, 2 of them having autism, and our oldest having AuDHD. We meet, weekly, at Hogg Therapy to work with their therapists to meet goals, in speech, occupational, and physical therapies. This play set is also a tool for those days that we might be experiencing meltdowns, tummy troubles, or maybe their shirt just doesn’t fit just right that day, to be able to do telehealth with our amazing  therapists and be able to work on those goals at home, with more alike tools they use in clinic. Bellamy’s favorite is the saucer swing. He could decompress there for hours. Braydon loves the swings and climbing the rock wall. Camden loves it all! We can’t thank the Joy Project and their sponsors enough for helping our boys find new ways to regulate, calm, and play at home! Also helping us find new ways to reach inclusion, even when we need a day at home instead of in clinic to still be able to join in and learn and work on our goals. They have had a blast!
