In December of 2022, around 8 volunteers across the Lexington community worked together to renovate a Charles Young Center classroom for the OMAC program. We worked with the city to fully transform this space for the children and passionate teachers.

Omac's visions is to pave the way for success one child at a time by empowering them to build for a better and brighter tomorrow.

 

Our goal for this project was to enhance the learning environment for the kids so it feels like a home away from home.  Over the course of a few weeks we worked to design a new creed, paint the classroom, build furniture, organize space and more!
